I had a great time and I am curious to discover the story of the next Gamble brother.Buried in my TBR list, I finally had a chance to read Tempting the Best Man and it was so worth the wait! This is not a very original story but it is fresh and cute. Between Maddie who really hopes that Chase will be interested in her and he who thinks that she deserves better. There were many misunderstandings but it is a pleasure to learn to get to know them. It was very funny to follow them both, to see their clumsiness and yet their desire to create something together. Moreover, it seems that destiny plays tricks when they are forced to share a suite together. Yet for the marriage of her brother, Maddie and Chase find themselves together again. That was true before, when he rejected her and it seems to be true today again. Everyone knows it, it’s no secret, but Chase does not seem to care about her charms. Maddie has always loved Chase since childhood when she followed him and her brother to play with them. We therefore follow Maddie and Chase here. The novel announced a pleasant romance allowing to have a good time and that is exactly what we get with Tempting the Best Man. Also, the reissue of the Gamble Brothers series in French gave me the opportunity to immerse myself in this first volume. Yet, in recent years, her novels have really come to the forefront and I know I missed a lot. Lynn is none other than Jennifer Armentrout and even though I’ve read some of her books a long time ago.
